ELECTRIC START TO KICK-START CONVERSION
This is a kit that converts electric start models to kickstart only models. It replaces the necessary parts on the chaincase including the inner chaincase. This kit will require the drilling and tapping of three holes in the crankcase of which full instructions and the necessary tap is included.

STARTER MOTOR BLANK
If you have removed the starter motor and do not want to go to the expense and effort of changing the chaincase, then this is a simple to fit alloy plug that seals the hole that is left behind.

CRANKSHAFT (350cc and 500cc) - UK MADE

A race proven all English-made crankshaft (NOT a reworked Indian made crank), using our own competition designed forged steel connecting rod. The crankpin has a far larger diameter than the standard bigend or RE13 roller version. It is a press fit into the flywheels and theerfore, will not work loose as can happen on the original asembly. It uses a steel needle caged bearing. The flywheels are precision engineered from high quality steel billets with ground bores for the crankpin and main shafts. Designed with both the enthusiast and racer in mind.
Suitable for both electric or kickstart models.
For Indian Bullets use Part 200160 (500cc) or 200160G (350cc).

CRANKSHAFT (ELECTRA X)
We can now supply the same proven all English made crankshaft for the Electra X models. As some unlucky owners will know the Electra X bigend runs directly in the conrod potentially giving major reliability problems and expensive repairs. Although expensive to start with, this crankshaft is improved in every way and will not let you down.

LONG STROKE CRANKSHAFTS
570cc CRANKSHAFT - An all English made product. Very similar in specification to the crankshaft listed above. The new stroke of this crankshaft is 103mm (Standard is 90mm), giving a new engine size of 570cc, (or if used in conjunction with our 87mm forged piston, 612cc). This requires no modifying of the crankcase on most models, but will need checking as crankcases vary. With our forged piston and the fitting of a 3mm compression plate, it will give approximately 8.5:1 compression ratio.
Suitable for both electric or kickstart models.
For Indian Bullets use Part 200160A.
For Redditch Bullets WITH alternator use Part 200160E.
For Redditch Bullets WITHOUT alternator use Part 200160F.
Note: A 3mm compression plate and longer pushrods maybe required.

This brings the capacity of the 350 engine to 400cc but please note that the standard long skirt piston will need shortening or alternatively use part 90260 piston which have a shorter skirt.
The 350 is renowned for its sweeter engine over the 500. By installing a longer stroke crank you get a nice improvement to low and mid range torque while still giving the smoother and some would say sweeter ride of the 350. This also allows an increase in gearbox sprocket to maintain higher cruising speed without constant down changes for gradients especially if carrying luggage or a passenger.

ROLLER BIG END
A direct replacement of the standard floating bush big end assembly. More robust and more forgiving of lower oil pressure. Supplied with outer race and nuts, but thrust washers will need to be ordered separately.
For 1956-62 Redditch Bullets and all Indian Bullets use Part RE13.
For thrust washers order part number 140023.
For 1949-55 Redditch Bullets use Part RE8.
For thrust washers order part number 26707.
We can now supply RE15 which can be fitted in place of the RE13. It is an improved roller bearing for Enfield Bullet owners who intend to test their machine nearer to the limit. The bearing features a steel needle roller that gives even better service than the alloy cage at the heart of the road going RE13 used by a great many since the early sixties. The bearing assembly has a crankpin made from high tensile Nickel, Chrome, Molybdenum steel that is taken through a seven stage heat treatment process. The cage is centralised by two hardened steel washers. In addition to the steel needle cage which has a maximum permissible speed in excess of 15,000 RPM.
As with the all big ends, only experienced engineers should fit these as specialised equipment is needed.

These are genuine forged alloy conrods blanks made by HDA forgings for the Redditch Royal Enfield factory. We have machined them for the 350s and 500s using modern CNC equipment to give a very accurate end product.

ELECTRA BIGEND AND CONROD
There have been a number of problems with the standard Electra (X) big end bearing failing. This is because the bearing runs directly in the conrod. We have taken a standard new conrod and machined it to accept an English made bearing which runs in a hardened sleeve pressed into the conrod.

FORGED STEEL CONROD
We have produced a batch of high tensile forged British steel conrods for the Bullets. This has been designed from scratch using new tooling so that we could produce exactly what we wanted. This combined with the roller bigend "RE13" is a direct replacement for the alloy rods which can occasionally fail with devastating results.
Note 1: The crankshaft will require re-balancing with this rod.
Note 2: Please state if required for a 350 or 500cc.
Note 3: There are 3 options available: suitable for a roller bigend, suitable for a floating bush bigend and with an RE13 roller bigend already fitted.
