Suspension (Rear)

These are the 290mm, adjustable Armstrong units used on some of the earlier Indian Bullets. They have black tops, chrome bottoms and can be fitted to most models to help redude the seat height. Sold individually.

Manufactured by Hagon these fully enclosed units give a classic look with their black and chrome finished covers. A 3 way adjustment gives you the choice of a softer ride.

These are the gas filled style as fitted to the Electra (X) with multiple adjustment. They are 320mm in length and are sold individually.

Note:
300mm suitable for Indian/Redditch built classic engined Bullets.
320mm suitable for 500cc Electra and EFI models.

These are the dual springed, knurled adjuster Armstrong style that were fitted to the Big Enfields in the late 1950's and early 1960's. Hagons have manufactured an exclusive batch for us to a very high standard. Black and chrome finish. Expensive, but excellent quality and will finish off that accurate restoration.

This set of 4 covers will fully enclose the springs on the standard Indian rear shock absorber. These covers are now improved, made in stainless steel and are finished in chrome on the bottom and painted black for the top, they give the classic look. UK made.

A locally made, dual rate spring which is designed to give a softer ride than the standard spring. Finished in black or chrome.

These are replacement metalastic bushes suitable for English or Indian models.
Dimensions:
22mm (7/8") long
22mm (7/8") outer diameter
10mm (3/8") inner diameter.

After testing various other “wider” swinging arms that are available, we decided to develop our own where we have full control over manufacture and quality. We are now pleased to offer a quality English made swinging arm which comfortably allows a 19 x 4” tyre (and slightly bigger if required) to be used. It will fit straight in a standard Bullet without any modifications. It is supplied complete with fitted bushes and painted black.

The nylon swinging arm bushes fitted as standard to the EFI are already getting a bad name for wearing out prematurely. This is a set of metalastic bushes as used on the older Bullets which are proved to be far superior. They are supplied with some specific thrust washers and instructions.

This is an English made, polished stainless steel nut with a nylon insert. The insert helps prevent the nut from loosening with potentially dangerous results. Fits models with long central stud with nut at each end.
