CLASSIC ROYAL ENFIELD TRIALS AND SCRAMBLES by Don Morley
Amongst his many influential books, Don Morley wrote two competition motorcycle titles in the early 1980s: Classic British Trials and Classic British Scramblers. Both are long out of print and rare. This 62 page paperback book reproduces the Royal Enfield sections from both books as the information they contain is invaluable to any motorcycle enthusiast wishing to build or restore an off-road competition machine. Also included are useful factory notes on tuning 350 and 500cc Bullets for competition purposes. Furthermore, there are additional details, pictures and period advertisements.

Peter Hartley's superb book has been out of print for many years. Secondhand copies have sold on Amazon for over £100! The book is one of the most respected and reliable histories of the marque, covering a vast range of models, with many fascinating period photos. In my view this is the finest available study of Royal Enfield history, development and progress, from the founding of the factory through to its demise. In the course of twelve well-written chapters the book takes us from 1700 through to 1980. This long-awaited reprint is a well produced hardback book.
