| This superb cap is a direct replacement for the plastic cap fitted to most Indian Enfields. It is made from high quality alloy. It is highly polished and has the letters "RE" machined in to the top. The letters are left unpainted to allow you to paint them the colour of your choice. | Worn out or weak springs can play havoc with the advancing of your ignition timing and can cause pinking. These are an English made replacement. Note: These are sold individually (you need to order 2 of them). |

| The early standard iron bushes can wear out quickly causing excessive play in the shaft and causing erratic timing. These are phosphor bronze bushes from the later models. | ||||||||

| The early distributors (which use bushes on the shaft instead of bearings) can suffer from excessive end float allowing the points plate and condenser to become damaged. These shims can be fitted between the distributor and the drive pinion to prevent this. They are 0.3mm (0.012'') thick, more than one can be fitted if required. | ||||||||

| If you have stripped the thread that holds the contact plate in your Bullet's distributor, then this kit is the answer. It is supplied with an oversize tap with guide and 2 special replacement nuts. It is an easy repair for the home mechanic and can be carried out with the distributor in place. | ||||||||
