These are the standard contact breaker points and condensers for the INDIAN Bullet.

Note: Use condensor Part Number: 141812 (1985 on) or Part Number: 140917 (early models with bolt on wire before 1985 approximately)

DISTRIBUTOR CAP
This superb cap is a direct replacement for the plastic cap fitted to most Indian Enfields. It is made from high quality alloy. It is highly polished and has the letters "RE" machined in to the top. The letters are left unpainted to allow you to paint them the colour of your choice.

Note: Not suitable for the Redditch built Bullets.

This is a similar cap to Part 200007 but machined with the wording 'SIXTY 5' to suit the Bullet Sixty 5 model.

DISTRIBUTOR COVER (CHROME LOOK)
This is the standard cover that is now fitted to the latest Bullets. It is a high quality plastic finished in chrome. The name "Royal Enfield" is finished in black.

DISTRIBUTOR CAP
This cast alloy cap is similar to 200007. It is made in India, and has the Royal Enfield name cast in to the end along with the manufacturer's trade mark. It is finished in chrome with red enamelled lettering.

Note: Not suitable for the Redditch built Bullets.

DISTRIBUTOR COVER (RUBBER)
This rubber cover fits directly over the standard cap and it has the name "Royal Enfield" moulded into the top of it. It helps to keep water out of the all important points and gives you bullet that personalised touch.

Note: Not suitable for the Redditch built Bullets.

AUTO ADVANCE SPRINGS
Worn out or weak springs can play havoc with the advancing of your ignition timing and can cause pinking. These are an English made replacement.

Note: These are sold individually (you need to order 2 of them).

DISTRIBUTOR BUSHES
The early standard iron bushes can wear out quickly causing excessive play in the shaft and causing erratic timing. These are phosphor bronze bushes from the later models.

DISTRIBUTOR SHIMS
The early distributors (which use bushes on the shaft instead of bearings) can suffer from excessive end float allowing the points plate and condenser to become damaged. These shims can be fitted between the distributor and the drive pinion to prevent this. They are 0.3mm (0.012'') thick, more than one can be fitted if required.

DISTRIBUTOR THREAD REPAIR KIT
If you have stripped the thread that holds the contact plate in your Bullet's distributor, then this kit is the answer. It is supplied with an oversize tap with guide and 2 special replacement nuts. It is an easy repair for the home mechanic and can be carried out with the distributor in place.

LUCAS COIL
This is the standard Lucas made coil as used on most Redditch or Indian made models.

COIL
This coil gives a better spark than the standard Lucas item. It is smaller than the original coil and is therefore supplied with a new fixing clip.

SPARK PLUGS (NGK IRIDIUM)
We can also supply the Iridium spark plugs which offer a more efficient spark and therefore a better performing and more economical engine. These spark plugs have a much greater life span than the standard version.

ELECTRONIC IGNITION (STANDARD and DIGITAL)
This kit allows the conversion of the old fashioned points to a modern electronic version, made by Boyer Bransden you can fit and forget. No more worn out points, condenser or distributor bushes. Simple to fit, comes with full instructions. As well as a specific kit for the Redditch Built Bullets with coil ignitions (Part BOYER7) we offer 2 other systems for the Indian built Bullets. A standard kit which works well for both the 350 and 500cc Bullet and a digital kit which has an improved advance curve which is more beneficial for the 500cc.

COMPETITION IGNITION KIT

COMPETITION IGNITION KIT (CRANK MOUNTED)
This is the ultimate electronic ignition kit, developed on our own competition Bullets. It fits in place of the standard alternator and removes the need for the distributor and associated timing pinions. It is driven straight from the crank, therefore, timing is accurate and reliable. It is self generating so no battery is required. Available for single or twin plugs. Simple to fit, it comes with 2 coils and instructions.

For 12 volt systems only.

ELECTRONIC IGNITION (EUREKA)
This Eureka electronic ignition is the one that is fitted as standard by the factory to some later Indian built Bullets. It is not as sophisticated as the Boyer kits as it still retains the mechanical advance/retard mechanism. It still replaces the points and condenser and is easy to wire in.
